| We're hosting an open LAN party at this year's TempleCon gaming convention in Providence, RI. It's going to be held at the Westin in Downtown Providence, and is also going to be host to a lot of other (non electronic) games in addition to the usual LAN stuff, if you're interested in that too. Our primary focus is Xbox 360/Xbox console gaming since we are holding a major Gears of War tournament at the event, but feel free to bring whatever hardware you want.
Bring your equipment if possible, but we'll also have some displays and consoles on hand provided by our sponsor. We also have some pretty slick prizes lined up. The hotel is really classy, so come expecting to take advantage of the full bar, restaurant, and heated pool a few steps away from the convention halls.
Pre-registration is highly recommended, both to get the lower membership rates and the fact that we can expand our LAN space if needed to accommodate more people once we have a hard idea of numbers.
